These Terms & Conditions apply to all cafe purchases, catering bookings, online
orders and services provided by Coyote Catering and Cafe (“we”, “us”, “our”). By
placing an order or booking with us, you agree to these terms.
1. General
1.1 All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated
otherwise.
1.2 We reserve the right to update pricing at any time.
1.3 These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The current
version will always be available on our website.
2. Catering Bookings
2.1 A booking is confirmed once submitted via our website or upon written
confirmation and payment of any required deposit.
2.2 Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 24 hours prior to the event
(48 hours for weddings).
2.3 Reductions in numbers or cancellations less than 24 hours prior to the catering
date (weekends not included) will be charged at the full invoice amount.
2.4 Changes after confirmation may incur additional charges.
2.5 We may substitute menu items due to seasonal availability or supplier issues.
Any substitutions will be of equal quality and value.
3. Deposits & Payments
3.1 A non-refundable 10% deposit may be required to secure catering bookings.
3.2 Private events must be paid in full no later than 48 hours prior to the event unless
otherwise agreed.
3.3 Corporate events must be paid within 7 days of invoice date.
3.4 Café online orders must be paid at time of pick-up.
3.5 We reserve the right to cancel bookings where payment terms are not met.
3.6 If an overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you will be liable for all recovery and legal costs incurred.
4. Delivery
4.1 We will make every effort to deliver as close as possible to your requested
delivery time; however, this cannot be guaranteed.
4.2 Please note:
• Cold food orders may arrive up to 1 hour prior to the requested time.
• Hot food orders may arrive up to 20 minutes prior to the requested time.
4.3 Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery or collection. Customers are responsible for appropriate storage and handling from that time.
5. Service Staff
5.1 Where service staff are booked, a minimum service period will apply as advised at the time of booking.
5.2 The minimum service period includes staff travel time to and from the venue, as well as set-up and pack-down time.
5.3 Additional hours requested on the day of the event will be charged at the
applicable hourly rate, subject to staff availability.
6. Online Orders & Dietary Requirements
6.1 Orders must be accurate and complete at the time of submission.
6.2 Customers must advise us of dietary requirements or allergies when ordering.
6.3 While we take care to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee the
absence of allergens due to shared kitchen facilities.
7. Changes to Orders
7.1 All catering order changes must be emailed to:

7.3 Changes are not confirmed until acknowledged by us.
8. Equipment Hire
8.1 All hired equipment remains our property.
8.2 Customers are responsible for loss or damage beyond fair wear and tear.
8.3 Collection arrangements will be agreed at the time of delivery.
9. Café Service
9.1 All in-store purchases are subject to availability.
9.2 We reserve the right to refuse service where permitted by law.
10. Food Quality & Liability
We use fresh, high-quality ingredients and prepare food in accordance with
applicable food safety laws and hygiene standards. While we take reasonable care
in sourcing and preparation, we are not liable for hidden defects in ingredients or
products supplied by third parties beyond our reasonable control.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy complies with Australian Consumer Law.
11. Catering Cancellations
11.1 Cancellations must be made in writing.
11.2 Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Private Events:
• More than 48 hours before the event – deposit retained, no further charges.
• Less than 48 hours prior (weekends not included) – full invoice amount payable.
Corporate Events:
• More than 24 hours before the event – no further charges.
• Less than 24 hours prior (weekends not included) – full invoice amount payable.
12. Event Postponement
We will make reasonable efforts to transfer payments to a new date, subject to
availability. Price adjustments may apply.
13. Cafe Purchases
13.1 We do not provide refunds for change of mind.
13.2 Refunds or replacements will be provided where required under Australian
Consumer Law.
13.3 Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of purchase.
14. Catering Order Issues
14.1 Incorrect or damaged catering orders must be reported immediately upon
delivery.
14.2 Where appropriate and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund.
